Digipak CD label

This the design for our CD label that will accompany our artists digipak. It was created using Adobe Photoshop, in the same style as our other ancillary tasks.

Photoshop Tutorials

This video has taught us the basic skills and tools to be able to operate Photoshop, as neither me or George have used it in detail before.

This tutorial is a more in depth look at photo manipulation and being able to merge two images together. We only need to know a few of the skills shown here, however Lolly, our technician, has helped us to be able to develop and adapt the skills learnt here to use the way we want in our ancillary tasks.

This final video is specifically on how to smoothen out the skin which is what we want to do to our artist’s appearence on both the Digipak and the poster, as we want to create a flawless complexion which reflects how the industry today manipulates peoples looks. We found this quite an enjoyable part of using photoshop as it allowed us to experiement and actually experience how the industry actually uses the software to change peoples appearence.
